Costs

With all new Family Law clients, we conduct an initial consultation. In this consultation we will go through your matter with you, taking the time to understand your situation and the history of your relationship.

We will:

• Provide you with current, realistic and usable information, allowing you to make informed decisions about your matter.
• Give you information about non court-based solutions.
• Provide you with all the relevant costs information for the future conduct of your matter.

The initial consultation with Boland Legal is charged at a fixed rate of $440.00 inc GST.

During our first meeting with you, we will take the time to discuss our costs and answer any questions you may have.

Where possible, Boland Legal will offer fixed fee work in an effort to minimise your legal costs.  When fixed fees are not possible we will be in regular contact with you regarding your legal costs.  At Boland Legal we are committed to providing solutions designed to minimise your costs.

If you have received documents (including an application for consent orders, an application for a divorce, financial agreement or a binding child support agreement) from the other party which you would like independent legal advice about, please contact our office to discuss our fees.  Where possible we will provide you with a fixed price.

We offer discounted rates for the preparation of Advanced Care Directives, Power of Attorney and Wills for student, seniors, apprentices and defence and emergency service personnel including SES (and their spouses).
